 TOXIC RELATIONSHIP AMONG CAMPUS STUDENTS

I had a secret admirer, who watched my every move from far away when my thoughts were astray. 

The attention I was craving and the moment love was mentioned my heart would leap with longing hoping to belong even if it was for a pay. 

We met along the corridors of the main campus just before the door of my history class. He asked for my number and without hesitation I wrote it down for him just like in a film- when one dropped down their book and all it took was a look in the other person's eye to fall in love. They call it love at first site. 

Naive and stupid,  I craved for the love I was never given before.

'I want to get to know you' he said, and all these flowers are for you. With a hopeful smile I saw my future from a mile away moving towards me a couple of steps a day. 

Daylight meetings turned to late night ones. One time visits to his place turned to sleepovers with him pulling over my gate to pick me up every time. Little by little he took my breath away and I fell deep in love like a stray cat to his newly found home.

Tables turn- he turned my life upside down and I felt like I was drowning. He fed me with lies as he covered them with lots of money. Yes money that kept alive our little bubble.

My fabulous nights with him changed to nightmares that I couldn't control and I hated myself for being weak and stick to the needle that pierced my heart. 

He controlled everything I owned and I became lonely and totally lost. He was toxic and he made me sick but again what did I know about love? He made sure my wishes  were fulfilled (anything involving money) but never cared for my emotions nor any opinion that I had.

I had to make the biggest decision of my life. Start afresh and redefine love and the true meaning of a relationship.



You might have heard this many times. Toxic relationships. We have had several cases over the years about how students' lives in the University were destroyed just because they couldn't find a good partner. Well let's say they have the misfortune of finding themselves in an unhealthy relationship. Not everyone knows about the other until they spend some quality time together getting to know each other. There have been cases where students lost their lives after being caught up in the wrong relationship.     Nice you trying but the article was straight(before finishing the story I already knew what was going to happen next...try to confuse the reader give the reader the suspense of wanting to know more after each act)

    Wow, it's a nice article but I think it would sound more creative with rhyme schemes, similes,among others and also try as much not to be so direct.All in all it's interesting
